Technical Parameters of Nap Desk and Chair
1. Nap Desk
1. Desktop Panel
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new ABS material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 630mm × Width 430mm × Height 44mm;
(3) Surface Treatment: Matte frosted finish to avoid dazzling glare caused by mirror reflection, especially under strong light or lamp light, reducing eye fatigue;
(4) Functional Design: The front edge and both side edges of the desktop are raised to serve as pen stops. The front center of the desktop has a stationery slot. The chest-side features a duckbill-shaped anti-compression design. Edges are smooth and rounded for safety and aesthetics.
(5) Bottom Support: A square tube measuring Length 460mm × Width 30mm × Height 20mm × Thickness 1.5mm is installed under the panel as a transverse reinforcement rib to significantly reduce bending deformation or collapse of the desktop panel caused by long-term pressure (such as stacking books or students leaning on it);
(6) Impact Resistance: According to ASTM D5420-16 standard, the average puncture energy reaches above 15J/M2.
2. Book Box
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP+15GF material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 536mm × Width 407mm × Height 150mm;
(3) Functional Design: Multiple ventilation holes are set at the front end. Three ribs each 400mm long are located 70mm from the bottom outer edge to enhance the strength of the book box and prevent stationery such as books from slipping out;
(4) Fixing Method: The flanges on both sides of the book box connect and fix with the desktop panel and upper flip bracket, cooperating with the lower flip bracket to achieve a 45º flip.
3. Desk Steel Frame
(1) Material and Shape: Flat oval high-frequency cold-rolled tube;
(2) Dimensions: The foot tube uses a flat oval tube of Length 415mm × Width 34mm × Height 65mm × Thickness 1.2mm; the inclined column uses Length 357mm × Width 34mm × Height 65mm × Thickness 1.5mm flat oval tube; the lifting tube uses Length 334mm × Width 25mm × Height 54mm × Thickness 1.2mm flat oval tube; the desk foot connecting bar uses Length 468mm × Width 25mm × Height 50mm × Thickness 1.2mm flat oval tube;
(3) Welding: Steel tube welding uses CO2 shielded welding technology. The weld surface is uniformly rippled, with no slag inclusion, pores, weld spatter, weld bead undercut, or spatter, and no defects such as lack of fusion, false welding, or welding voids;
(4) Surface Treatment: After welding and forming, the steel frame undergoes degreasing, descaling, washing, rust removal, neutralization, pickling, phosphating, and drying, followed by fully automatic electrostatic powder coating (high-temperature curing), resulting in a bright and smooth surface without particle debris, and uniform color.
4. Foot Cover
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 116mm × Width 45mm × Height 74mm;
(3) Functional Features: Anti-slip and wear-resistant, effectively reducing noise generated when dragging the desk.
5. Desktop Height Adjustment
(1) Adjustment Range: 610mm-730mm (adjustable to any height within this range according to individual height);
(2) Adjustment Method: Hand-cranked screw lifting, with alloy die-cast transmission gears and aluminum alloy gearbox housing. The lifting screw uses medium carbon steel T-thread transmission. One full turn of the crank raises or lowers about 2.5mm. Left and right gearboxes are linked by a transmission rod with a straight external hexagonal shaft, synchronously driven. The transmission rod is externally covered with a protective tube with a concealed protection device to prevent collision bending, ensuring normal use.
(3) Functional Features: Stepless lifting, achieving millimeter-level fine adjustment through continuous rotation of the hand crank, precisely matching student height needs. The screw mechanism naturally has self-locking properties, automatically fixing the position after adjustment without additional locking steps.
6. Flip Bracket
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP+15GF material by integral injection molding;
(2) Bracket Form: The flip mechanism consists of an upper bracket and a lower bracket. The upper bracket is fixed to the book box and desktop panel, and the lower bracket is fixed to the top end of the inclined column of the desk steel frame;
(3) Flip Range: The desktop and book box can tilt and flip at an angle of 0-45º;
(4) Functional Features: Makes reasonable use of the limited classroom space, facilitating the backward tilt of the front row student chair backs, providing a more comfortable space for napping. The operation is simple and clear (both hands press the left and right buckles simultaneously to flip), convenient and quick.
2. Nap Chair
1. Seat Panel
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP+15GF material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 416mm × Width 396mm × Height 78mm;
(3) Functional Design: Slightly concave in the middle, lightly wrapped on both sides, with a curved surface fitting the hips to avoid soreness from prolonged sitting. The front edge has a waterfall design, with the front end of the seat panel slightly tilted downward to reduce pressure on the back of the thighs and promote blood circulation. The panel has regularly distributed small ventilation holes to prevent sweating during long sitting in summer.
2. Backrest
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP+15GF material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 421mm × Width 77mm × Height 364mm;
(3) Functional Design: Ergonomically curved design for better wrapping, correcting sitting posture and protecting the spine. A lumbar support is installed at the lower back position of the backrest to effectively relieve lumbar muscle strain from prolonged sitting and protect students' waists. The backrest panel has regularly distributed ventilation holes to prevent sweating on the back during long sitting in summer.
(4) Soft Pack Rubber Lumbar Support: Made of new PP material with integrated injection molding, externally wrapped with thermoplastic rubber (TPR60), featuring high resilience, delicate skin feel, anti-slip and skin-friendly properties. Dimensions are 230mm×46mm×406mm.
3. Headrest
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: 200mm×93mm×40mm;
4. Armrest
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of reinforced nylon composite material (PA6+30GF) with integrated injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 194mm × Width 46mm × Height 42mm;
(3) Functional Design: Rounded edge anti-collision design to prevent students from bumping and getting injured; surface treated with matte frosted finish, delicate touch, anti-slip and sweat-resistant, meeting modern aesthetics and environmental standards; armrest uses a wide surface design to provide more stable support, relieve arm fatigue, suitable for students to write or read for long periods.
5. Telescopic Flip-up Leg Rest
(1) Material and Processing Technology: Made of new PP+15GF material by integral injection molding;
(2) Dimensions: Length 347mm × Width 205mm × Height 87mm;
(3) Functional Design: Front edge waterfall design, the front end of the leg rest tilts slightly downward to reduce pressure on the back of the calves and promote blood circulation. Surface has regularly distributed breathable small holes for heat dissipation and sweat prevention. During student naps, the leg rest can be extended to 330mm and flipped; during study or class, it can be retracted and hidden, easy to use.
6. Steel Chair Frame

(3) Surface Treatment: After welding and forming, the parts undergo degreasing, cleaning, rust removal, neutralization, pickling, phosphating, drying, and then use fully automatic electrostatic powder coating process (high-temperature curing), featuring bright and smooth surface, no particle slag spots, and uniform color.

9. Chair Back Flip Function

During naps, students can adjust the recline angle of the backrest using the flip handle under the chair back according to their needs. Used together with the leg rest, it allows for napping; after flipping to the second position, the maximum distance from the top of the backrest to the edge of the footrest is 1600mm, meeting the space needs for students to lie flat, greatly improving nap quality.
